Burn The Dance Floor is a Modern Salsa Latin Dance Coaching, Street Theatre, Entertainment and Creative Promotion Company. Mission: To inspire, educate and help individuals and companies to create more passion, fun and fire to live their full potential.
The Challenge: You will aggressively share our passion to the world and help develop, build and market the Raymondo Chan and Burn The Dance Floor brands, with Salsa Latin dance, lifestyle and entertainment solutions, including Exotic Salsa Dancing Games™, Exotic Cruises, Set Vancouver on Fire™ exhibition series.
With a glimpse into his emerging Exotic Universe, you will work closely with the Founder, Creative Director, Raymondo Chan, an avant garde choreographer, entertainer to accomplish his dangerous mission.
There are two focuses to the business: 1. private & group lessons, motivation seminars, cruises, parties and events And 2. parrot entertainment, photography, shows, creative promotion.

1. Responsibilities:
This requires high-energy, driven and high adaptability while wearing different hats in the start-up phase. 80% project management, sales and execution, 20% strategy and planning
2. Eating Chaos for Breakfast: You will spend a lot of time with me discussing goals, vision, strategy, tactics: event and product marketing, branding, creative development, communication implementation and measurement.
3. Market, write proposal, budget, sell, activate sponsorships and service the accounts, develop timeline, milestones.
4. Find creative ways to maximize, leverage existing and new opportunities and create revenue streams.
· Ensure critical goals, milestones and sales are met.
· Develop, increase fans, clients and membership base
· Maximize exposure: PR, press release, website, blog, social media tools e.g. facebook, youtube, twitter
· Foster strong relationship to help clients succeed: strategic alliance, affiliates, sponsors
· Coordinate event: provide efficient, prompt, timely communication and support to the creative director and clients, pre and post events reporting and sales support, and ensure budget is accurate and comprehensive
· Communicate changes to in a timely, clear, easy-to-understand manner.

6. If the project needs something, you find a way to get it DONE... and sometimes that means doing it yourself -- progress and results is the key. In other words, you are willing to get dirty and make things happen.

* Proactive, professional, team-player yet can work with little supervision
* Ability to prioritize, work under pressure, and demonstrate a sense of urgency
* Sales Presentation: communicate effectively, develop rapport and close sales.
* Communication: excellent written and verbal communications, copywriting, proofread and edit.
* Financial Management: understand budgets, track time, expenses accurately; reconcile job cost reports with billing
* Administrative: ability to follow directions, analyze instructions from marketing documents, distribute them as required, set up an effective operation system
* Software: Proficient in all MS Office products; Photoshop a plus, not a must.
Ideally, you have club, conference, tradeshow planning and sponsorship, project management experience, and/or film, entertainment, agency side account management background. Interests in Latin dance and music, fashion, arts, film and TV.
Compensation: will be creative and commensurate with experience. I have not decided if I want this to be a junior position or a senior position. Performance and result is the yardstick. But I also know the value of experience. So I'm open to all possibilities. Students and recent graduate are strongly encouraged to apply.
