Lunar Chinese New Year is around the corner on Saturday Jan 1. It shares the same weekend of the Taboo Naughty But Nice Show. How sexy will that be for the tradition of 15 days celebrations.
Baby Picasso and I are super-excited to kick off and ring in the Lunar New Year with a Taboo edition "Unleash Your Passion" show at 11 pm at the Taboo Show to welcome the auspicious year ahead. EXOTIC SALSAMASTER will transform with KAPTAIN JACK PARROT doing interviews, demonstrating and teaching Exotic Salsa Dancing. Gallop a strong wild ride of kick-ass adventure!

The Vancouver Chinatown Spring Festival is this weekend with the Chinese New Year Parade happening on Sunday, February 2, 2014. Organizers of the 41st annual Vancouver Chinatown Spring Festival Parade are expecting more than 50,000 people to join in the Year of the Horse celebrations Sunday.
The parade, which kicks off at 11 a.m. at Carral and West Pender streets, will wind through the streets of Chinatown up to Gore Avenue, ending on Keefer Street.
The event features 3,000 performers, dance troops, marching bands and lion and dragon dancers.
“We have our multicultural values as Canadians and this is one way to share our cultural experiences with other groups, and we also go to other events to support their cultural festivities as well,” said event organizer Jung Ing.
